COLONEL JOHN HASLET COMMANDED FIRST DELAWARE MILITIA REGIMENT. THIS REGIMENT FOUGHT IN BATTLES OF LONG ISLAND AND WHITE PLAINS. COL. HASLET WAS KILLED AT THE BATTLE OF PRINCETON, JANUARY 3, 1777.
