BENJAMIN FRANKLIN HARRISON M.D. MEMORIAL TREE PLAQUE
BORN IN 1811 ESTABLISHED A MEDICAL PRACTICE IN WALLINGFORD IN 1836. DR HARRISON WAS COMMISSIONED DURING THE CIVIL WAR AS A SURGEON TO A NEW YORK REGIMENT AT YORKTOWN, VA KNOWN AS "LES ENFANTS PERDUS" OR "THE LOST CHILDREN" AND SERVED UNTIL 1864.
