The President of the United States of America, in the name of Congress, takes pride in presenting the Medal of Honor (Posthumously) to Corporal Frank Bratling, United States Army, for services against hostile Indians on July 8 - 11, 1873, while serving with Company C, 8th U.S. Cavalry, in action at Fort Selden, New Mexico.
